Singapore, 20 May 2010: OneAsia today announced a new agreement which will see daily highlights for OneAsia tournaments broadcast on Bloomberg Television commencing from this week's SK Telecom Open in Seoul.

This deal will extend the coverage of OneAsia’s latest international event in Korea across Bloomberg Television’s footprint to over 150 million television households in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa (EMEA).  The agreement was arranged by World Sport Group, the global media and marketing partner of OneAsia.

Each hour-long highlights show will feature the most exciting moments at the conclusion of each day's play - this week showcasing former winners K.J. Choi and Simon Yates, defending champion Park Sang-Hyun, and big-hitting contender Kim Dae-hyun, who prevailed at OneAsia's GS Caltex Maekyung Open just two weeks ago.

“Having OneAsia showcased to an additional 150 million television households in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa further adds to our comprehensive TV platform, which gives players in Asia-Pacific the international exposure they need to step onto the world stage with their counterparts in the U.S. and Europe," said Sang Y. Chun, OneAsia's Chairman and Commissioner. "The added exposure to the business community further enhances the extensive and varied distribution we are able to provide sponsors on a global level."

Brian Martinez, International Managing Director, Bloomberg Television commented, “Golf is a predominant past-time of our business viewers and we are thrilled to be able to offer them such an exciting tour as OneAsia.  Golf adds another dimension to our rapidly expanding weekend sporting line-up in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, including live FIA GT racing.  Bloomberg Television continually strives to deliver quality programming in-line with our core audience’s interests and the OneAsia tour provides another exciting layer to a truly fresh approach for the network.”

Full coverage of this week's SK Telecom Open will be available domestically on Korean broadcaster Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), as well as internationally on ESPN Star Sports, ESPN3.com, Network Ten and America One among others.

Since it was launched last year, OneAsia’s tournament schedule has more than doubled in size, offering a multitude of full field playing opportunities to leading players across the region.  In 2010, OneAsia will stage 11 tournaments, ultimately seeking to provide players in Asia with an alternative pathway to the PGA Tour and the European Tour.
