Trio tie for lead in Indonesia Open presented by Enjoy Jakarta

Jakarta, July 1: Australians Anthony Brown and Michael Wright along with veteran Taiwanese golfer Tsai Chi-huang prevailed in taxing conditions on the opening day of the US$1 million Indonesia Open presented by Enjoy Jakarta today.

They fired five-under-par 67s at the Damai Indah Golf - Pantai Indah Kapuk Course in intense humidity and windy conditions.

Star players Liang and Shingo set to shine in Indonesia Open presented by Enjoy Jakarta

Jakarta, June 30: Globetrotting golfer Liang Wenchong tees-off tomorrow in the Indonesia Open presented by Enjoy Jakarta bidding to win his third title on OneAsia.

Despite a hectic travel schedule over the past month which has seen him play in Europe, the United States and Japan, the Chinese number one said: “I am in good condition and ready to compete against a strong field.”

Jakarta, June 29: Indonesia’s Benny Kasiadi, the son of the great Kasiadi, will compete in this week’s Indonesia Open presented by Jakarta for the first time as a professional and is one of a record number of local players competing.

The tournament tees-off on Thursday at Damai Indah Golf - Pantai Indah Kapuk Course with 35 Indonesians bidding for honours in the US$1million OneAsia tournament.
